Stop, Thief!

A few weeks ago, I went to the McCaskill headquarters and got a nice, large sign along with two metal posts on which it mount it. I drove the posts solidly into the ground and affixed the sign to them. This is along Wild Horse Creek Road and the sign was facing so westbound drivers could see it. We also put out the usual yard signs for McCaskill.

It’s been almost three weeks. Today I saw that someone had taken both our signs … including the metal posts. Nothing is left. I wondered if, somehow, the highway department had removed signs that they thought in their right of way. No. All the Talent signs seemed intact all along our street.

Is this just another sign about the lack of civility in our society? Is this another sign of how divided we are as a nation that we attack free speech? When I discussed this with a friend today, she told me that her car with a McCaskill sticker on it had been “keyed” and the sticker defaced. Where are we as a society going with all of this?

New Handwriting Font

It's cool and sort of looks like my handwriting ... except that it's way more regular. Got it from fontgod.com, a guy in Austrailia. Too bad this sample is really too small to see how it really looks. I am interested in this for some art projects combining visual art with my poems.
